Hemp Clothing Sponsor and Supplier.
Cultiva want to demonstrate the use of new and innovative materials as far too many garments have been churned out and left in landfills. Plastic fibres and other toxic chemicals are found in synthetic clothes which eventually are released into our atmosphere & seas.
This project was created to inspire modern designer's hoping to solve the issues of climate change and fast fashion. How can we minimise the textile industry negative impact on the world?
Plastic fibres and other toxic chemicals are found in synthetic clothes which eventually are released into our atmosphere & seas. Hemp is just one example of a bioremediation crop which produces natural fibres that can also give goodness back to the soil. We see these eco materials becoming more popular as hemp and other powerful plants become a solution to the disastrous effects of fast fashion. By using these plants, we can make a change to water use, waste, toxins and carbon dioxide levels. The more we cultivate this fashion, the more we can save the world!
